Bagasse gelato cups
Bagasse gelato cups come from sugarcane production. Specifically, it is the fiber left on sugarcane stalks after the juice is extracted.
The leftover fibers are blended with water until they create a pulp. In as little as 60 days, bagasse can be composted entirely. When composted, bagasse turns into a nutrient-rich fertilizer of nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, and calcium.
